A Different View On a Summer Day
This time of year it is crime to stay inside. I use the guilt of cold, dark winter days as a motivator to venture outside. The warm sun of summer will be missed in a few short weeks. To document such a
beautiful day, my camera and I trotted outside. The view is something to cherish.
The vivid blue sky is filled with bright and sunny clouds. This is the image writers have been penning about for centuries. The thought of lying in the grass and gazing up is to tempting to miss. It makes you want to look for creatures in the clouds and dream of some other place. This is the quentesential feeling of summer.
The air looks calm and makes me glad for the four distinct Midwest seasons. (Construction is not a season, it is a
lifestyle.)
This view shows a picturesque sky and the soft shade that comes from a canopy of trees. The fully matured trees sway with the gentle breeze that summer offers as a natural coolant. The trees are one of several features of the older neighborhood. When purchasing my house in early
winter, I had no clue these gentle giants would produce the most beautiful shade.
The best view from my walk is sharing it with two people. Wild Regan and Revin Roger joined me on a stroll to Walgreens. We did not need anything in particular - just wanted to soak in the summer's ray.
What are you doing the last few days of summer? Did you notice the image is the same, just cropped different?
