School's Out Craft
Around here my kids are out of school for three long weeks - yikes. To keep everyone sane and the shouting down to a roar, crafts are the answer. Unfortunately, the craft gene is not in my DNA. Thanks to Pinterest and the craft store, below is our latest attempt.
Homemade snow globes.
To complete this you will need:
Glue the item/object to lid. Set according to glue directions. Ours had to sit for 30 minutes for the set to be water resistant.
Add splash of corn syrup and small sprinkle of glitter. Adding more corn syrup makes the glitter linger longer after shaking. Add enough water to fill to the top. Add lid and shake vigorously. Enjoy the show until the next step.
Attach the lid. Some water should spill out to eliminate all air bubbles. My suggestion is to do this in the sink. Shake and enjoy the final show.
Notice our real tree in the background.
